Frankfurt, Germany – This year’s Malawi Independence Day celebrations will take place in Frankfurt on Saturday, 4 July 2026.
As 6 July falls on a Monday this year, the community has chosen to gather over the weekend to give more people the opportunity to attend and celebrate together. The annual event offers Malawians and friends of Malawi living in Germany and surrounding areas a chance to reconnect, celebrate national identity, and strengthen community bonds.
The celebration will focus on unity, heritage, and pride, bringing together members of the Malawian diaspora for a joyful gathering.
